Letter from Pedro Pizarro to his cousin Gonzalo Pizarro, 1546 Dec. 8 [i.e. 1547].

Pedro Pizarro's letter of December 8, 1546 [i.e. 1547] to his cousin Gonzalo Pizarro, in which Pedro, who had previously sided with the king's partisans during the rebellion, now proclaims his loyalty to Gonzalo. Pedro, the first historian of the conquest of Peru, asks clemency from Gonzalo and reminds his cousin of their family ties. He concludes by swearing uncompromising allegiance to Gonzalo in the future.
